LJC Code of Conduct
In general we just ask that people operate with respect and kindness to all other members and organisers of the community. We have a wonderful and diverse group of individuals from all corners of the earth and try to create a supportive environment in which everyone can feel both physically and psychologically safe, able to be themselves without fear of judgment in any way.

Our goal is to bring people together for the benefit of the wider Java community, facilitating learning, mentorship and connections of many kinds to happen.

Here are a few specific rules that we would expect everyone to be aware of and follow at all times:

-
We would ask that you please be respectful of all members. We welcome diversity and inclusivity in our group and will not accept any discriminatory behavior or language.
-
We would always appreciate it if you could please be careful not to share confidential or sensitive information and respect the privacy of others.
-
Please avoid spamming or excessive self-promotion and do not engage in any illegal activity of any kind.
-
Please report any violations of the code of conduct to the Community organisers
-
We do not tolerate harassment of participants, either online or in-person - in any form. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the organising team immediately.

Thank you for following these guidelines, so we can create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all members feel comfortable sharing and collaborating.
