Microprofile
An open forum to optimise Enterprise Java for a microservices architecture by innovating across multiple implementations and collaborating on common areas of interest with a goal of standardisation. Microprofile was born in part as a faster feedback loop for Jakarta EE (née Java EE) specifications. Today Microprofile is based in Jakarta EE Core Profile with the addition of extra specifications, some of which will eventually be added to Jakarta EE.
LJC INVOLVEMENT
The Microprofile project was a community response to lack of work on Java EE and new l, cloud native reality. LJC was a founding member of the project and our members played an active role in shaping it by being involved in the Working group. At this time our involvement is very limited, but if you want to be involved in any capacity (technical or non-technical) we will be happy to help.
